Jose Osuna's and Shiomi's HRs against best pitcher of Japan (Yoshinobu Yamamoto) brought great win. Most of critics expected Orix's advantage due to this pitcher. Swallows' victory of first game has significant meaning for the remaining series.

Ryan Ogawa as starter did good job. Allowing only 2 runs in 5 innings, and got first win of Japan series after his several tries. All set upper gave no runs (as always!), and closer Scott McGough showed us "McGough theater" (as always!) with happy end.

Hope Yamada (4 strike outs), and Santana (no hit and sloppy defense) to improve after second game. Go Swallow, Go!
